Good saw, very nice large table. This is a very good saw. I like the design. I like the expendable table. I LOVE the ruler and how it is easy to see. I love the fact that it can cut up to 3.5 inches. It's powerful! I am VERY disappointed about is the angle scale/numbers. 1) My old saw (skil Model #3310) had a angle dead stop that = 0%, this saw angle dead stop is -.25%. The numbers with angle % is a sticker, so it is not adjustable. (like on some miter saws where you can set your 0 and then adjust the display) The sticker looks VERY cheap and has air bubbles. Just not what I was expecting from top of the line saw that is so nice with other features. Now I have to remember that my 45 is actually 44.75 and puncture holes to let air out on the sticker.... Good for price What you get is a 185.00 saw all in delivered (reconditioned). This saw is portable, easy to move around, quite stable under cuts. On the not so good side, case is not the strongest plastic, main complaint miter gauge is flimsy and above all the slider channels are "proprietary" meaning they won't take standars hardwood sliders for jigs. I might grind them off with a file -slow, tedious work or figure out how to rout the channels to mimick the factory settings. Power is violent on start up but what do you expect from a smallish motor tuned to 15 amps. Bottom line, great price, does the job. QUit complaining so much or go spend 350-600! July 1, 2012
