    OCTO Junk

    Good idea but very poor quality. Velcro that holds the pads on sander and accessories came off on FIRST use. Cost of replacement sanding pads too high.

    This Sander does have great attachments BUT!

    The attachments and the base for them are so poorly engineered that after 4 days of actual use with 3 of the attachments the base plate has only one spot left to slide an attachment into, and it is bending...The orbit speed of the sander is too high for plastic attachments or a plastic base. Two of the openings in the base have either melted or broken right off the base. Of the 2 attachments I have tried to use the curved attachment is a great idea but in use the hook and loop is already breaking at the edges, the flat rectangular attachment has actually melted and left orange plastic on the base and the base base melted and left black plastic on the attachment. I am a woman so you know I was not using too much pressure on the attachments. Also the base is a horror to attach and detach trying to push down and pull or push it on or off is a real struggle. Loved your tool idea but feel that the engineers dropped the ball and are hurting your brand name with this tool. Which I am going to try and return next time I go to the store.

    Worthless toy, not a tool

    During the first 20 minutes of use, two of the black "hook" pads separated from the small attachments. No biggie, I can epoxy them back together. A tab on one of the attachments broke. Can't fix that. My biggest complaint is that the hook and loop interface is insufficient, so the sandpaper is constantly shifting around. Then after about 5 or 6 minutes of use, the sandpaper will no longer stick to the pad or attachments. They simply fall off. At that rate, I'll be spending a fortune on sandpaper. So it goes back to Lowe's tomorrow.
