Great product for the price I know the first guy didn't give this a good review, but I found this product to be very good for the price. I've probably logged over 4 hours of use on this machine and the only complaint I have is that the filter does fill up fast and will blow off, you just have to keep it emptied regularly or use the shop vac attachment. I have been using inexpensive Harbor Freight belts on it and have not had one belt issue or slip on this tool. The project I purchased this for is to strip and rebuild kitchen cabinets, so it is getting a lot of use. Good product for the money, maybe first reviewer just got a bad one. October 29, 2012
Micro filter fails in less than hour of use - can't be replaced?!!! FAIL! Sander shreds belts no matter how often you adjust the screw to keep it on track. Filter failed (round end disc came unglued from filter and got blown clear out of the plastic container along with all the rest of the dust until I gave up on this thing. Sander gets hot... really really hot within minutes. Tried using sander for 10 minutes. (Adjusted belt 4 times per 10 minutes to attempt to get it to not shred belts). Vacuumed sander body out after tapping out the worthless dust reservoir and setting it aside to cool down. Discovered motor full of dust. Set sander in front of fan for an hour to cool down so I could use it again. Repeated this slow process four times with no improvement in performance. I didn't buy expensive belts so belt failure I could accept but the belts are failing... they are getting shredded. I will be returning this to the store from whence it came and getting a different model. I do not recommend. Not well thought out. August 6, 2012
